The Kendo 88, much like its narrower sibling the Kanjo, is a great piste-focused freeride ski. It’s more than capable of holding an carve, but thanks to Volkl’s 3D sidecut design, it can take those carves all over the mountain and into more variable terrain. Titanal in the layup keeps it super stable, and the generous tip rocker makes it extremely versatile. the slightly wider size allows it to float a bit better in softer snow and plow through choppy stuff more easily, while still being easier to throw around than the Mantra.
